Description
These terracotta clay, brown sugar softeners are handmade in England by Suffolk Potteries and are designed to prevent your brown sugar from hardening and going off by controlling the moisture levels inside your storage. This helps you keep your brown sugar soft and fresher, for longer, ultimately saving you money and sugar!
To correctly use the brown sugar softener:
- Soak your terracotta clay softener in water for 15 minutes.
- Remove any excess water by patting it dry.
- Place it on top of your brown sugar.
When kept in a sealed container, this method will keep your brown sugar soft for up to 3 months. If you notice the moisture levels starting to lower again, simply repeat the process.
