What are the shipping costs?

All shipping costs on this website are worked out automatically using our real-time shipping calculators. The first calculator is located on the basket page and the second can be found on the checkout page.

Our shipping prices are based on two factors:

  1. Your desired shipping address.
  2. The product/s you are purchasing.

Once you have entered your desired shipping ‘County’, ‘Town / City’ and ‘Postcode’ and pressed the ‘Update’ button on either of our shipping calculators, you will be presented with all of the available shipping options specifically applicable to your order along with the subsequent price/s in real-time – Now you can simply select the service that you would like us to use to deliver your order.

Please be aware that should you alter any of the pricing factors mentioned in this section, prior to placing an order, the shipping calculators will automatically update all available prices to reflect any changes you have made.


When will my order be dispatched?

To make sure we get all our deliveries sent as efficiently as possible, we have an order cut-off time of 13:00 GMT.

Orders placed before 13:00 GMT will be dispatched by our sales team on the day your order is placed.

Orders placed after 13:00 GMT will be dispatched by our sales team on the next working day that follows the day your order is placed.

Example: An order placed on a Friday at 10:00 GMT would be dispatched that day; where as an order placed on a Friday at 18:00 GMT would be dispatched on the Monday that followed, as this would be the next working day from the day your initial order was placed (past the cut-off time).


Can I track my delivery?

Yes, you can!

For all DHL orders, you will be sent your order tracking email immediately – once your order status is set to ‘Shipped’.

For all Royal Mail orders, you will be sent your order tracking email the day after your order status is set to ‘Shipped’. As this is currently a manual process carried out by our sales team each day, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee you will always get this email before the delivery of your order has taken place.


Where can I get my order shipped to?

At this time we only deliver to addresses that fall within the UK Mainland.

If you would like to discuss a potential delivery to an area that is not part of the UK Mainland, please contact our sales team on 01603 319 419 (Option 1 for Sales).

Some areas in the Scottish Highlands may also not be covered by our standard delivery options.


Do you offer delivery over the weekend?

No, we do not.

All deliveries are made during the working week (Monday – Friday) during standard working hours.

All lead times given throughout this website are measurable in working days and do not include weekends, bank holidays or national holidays. This is standard practice for all major couriers within the UK.


What should I do if any of the content within my email/s isn’t working?

Should any of the information within any of our automated emails not work correctly, please contact our sales team immediately on 01603 319 419 (Option 1 for Sales).

Content that could potentially contain errors include: PDFs; Order tracking numbers; Order tracking number links, Images, Tables.

Issues such as images not loading correctly or emails ending in spam folders can be due to local safety restrictions on your PC, tablet or mobile device. Please be sure to check spam email folders or make sure that images aren’t being locally restricted or blocked.


Why aren’t I able to see all of the courier services when using the shipping calculator?

Because our website uses sophisticated real-time shipping calculators, any services offered to you via these calculators is based on both the shipping address and the products you are purchasing. In addition to this, when dealing with Royal Mail options specifically, our calculators restrict visibility of certain options based on insurance coverage – as well as the two previously mentioned factors.

As a result of this, not all shipping services will always be applicable to your order and so our calculators will only show you the courier service options that meet with your orders requirements.


*Collections and collection only products – What does ‘by appointment only’ mean?

At this current time and in a direct effort to help reduce the spread of Covid-19, we have changed our collections process to a ‘by appointment only’ system. We are unable to permit entry into our premises to anyone that has not contacted us and been granted permission to visit/make a collection prior to their arrival.

If you have placed an order with us and selected a ‘Collection’ based shipping option, a member of our sales team will contact you within 48 working hours of placing your order to discuss a date and time for you to come and collect your order from us.

If you have not placed an order with us but would like to come and visit, please get in touch with us using one of the provided methods on our contact us page.

Why are some products available as ‘collection only’?

Despite carefully choosing our couriers to make sure we are able to offer the most efficient delivery services at the most competitive prices in order to distribute every product we sell throughout the UK Mainland; unfortunately our couriers are not able to deliver absolutely every product we get in stock – Certain products simply aren’t accepted for transport by either the Royal Mail or DHL.

This can occur for a number of reasons, however the two most common reasons for this that affect the products sold by us (found on this website) are because the products are either classed as being too large in their physical size or weight or they are generally classed as being too dangerous to safely transport.

In order to still offer these products for sale through our website, we must remove our core shipping options and present ‘collection only’ shipping methods instead. This means that you are able to make your purchase with us online as usual, however the only shipping option that will be made available to your order will be ‘collection’.
